London After Dark – Night Photography in the Heart of London
Photographing London after darkness, using artificial light, reflections, movement, long exposures and the atmosphere of the city.

This is a practical evening photography workshop designed for photographers who already understand their camera and want to learn how to create compelling photographs after dark.
Rather than concentrating on famous landmarks alone, the class explores how London changes at night:
- Illuminated architecture
- Street lights
- Reflections
- Traffic trails
- Moving people
- Neon and shop lighting
- Wet streets
- Shadows
- Silhouettes
- Long exposures
- Light trails
- Night-time cityscapes
The aim is to teach participants how to control and use artificial light creatively.

If you normally shoot in Auto and are still learning the fundamentals, our 3-hour Beginners Photography Workshop is the better starting point.

We’ll explore London as it comes alive at night — looking beyond the obvious landmarks to discover light, movement, reflections, geometry and atmosphere.
The objective isn’t simply to photograph London after dark.
It’s to learn how to control your camera and use the night creatively.
